Payment Methods

All goods must be paid for prior to dispatch. Payment can be made using credit card, debit cards or switch cards - via our Secure Site. Please note we will only debit your card for the amount payable for the goods dispatched to you. Payment is cleared on your card when goods are put into transit process. You also have the option of using PayPal or Google Checkout.

Cancellation Rights & Returns Policy

Yakwax is committed to you being fully satisfied with your purchases. If for any reason you would like to return any unused products, please follow these guidelines and email our customer service team on the details.

Items must be returned within 14 days from date of purchase. E-mail us at team@yakwax.com for a Return Authorization number.

No refunds or exchanges will be made without a valid RA#.

We will need your name, order number and details of the item you wish to return, plus the particulars of any exchange required. If you do not have these details available then pass on as much information as possible and we will endeavor to allocate a returns number to you within 48 hours.
Please do not send items until you have received a RA#. Yakwax cannot process the return without this number. Items must be returned unused with all their tags and in the same packaging they arrived in.

Clearly mark the returns item with the returns address and ensure the RA# is on the outside of all boxes / packaging you wish to send back.

Within the package include any exchange information that you require. The customer is responsible for all return delivery costs unless an item has been delivered to you either faulty or incorrectly, if this is the case Yakwax will refund the cost of postage to return these items.

Items must be returned via recorded or special delivery. Yakwax cannot accept responsibility for items that are not returned by recorded delivery.
Upon inspection of returned product, Yakwax will issue a full refund to the Payment Method used for the purchase less the original delivery charge.

Sorry, but there are no returns or exchanges on bargain or sale items unless specifically authorised by Yakwax. Please email us if you have a query.

Any used items will be denied a refund and returned to the customer at his/her expense.

We have aimed to show the highest quality images of products to give you the best possible reflection of the item you are purchasing. We also offer you a request & contact service - so if you are in any doubt you can ask for more information before placing your order and we are more than happy to supply you with further details.

Orders for Surfboards, Paddle boards and Skimboards are exempt from the returns policy and are nonreturnable unless the following has occurred:

(1) The wrong product has been sent to you:
If you have received a different product than the one you ordered please contact surfboards@yakwax.com.
Please be advised, If the Surfboard, Paddle board or Skimboard that you ordered is incorrect Yakwax will give you a full refund.
note:
Yakwax receives all surfboard dimensions in decimal form and we have tried our up-most to translate every dimension perfectly correct into a fraction. If you are in any doubt please email us for confirmation on a boards dimensions. Alternatively visit www.surftech.com to confirm a boards dimensions (please note their board dimensions are in decimal form). Yakwax cannot be held responsible for any slightly incorrect dimensions as we have translated the best we can.
If a Surfboard, Paddle board or Skimboard is returned to us under the assumption that the wrong product has been delivered and it was in fact the correct product, Yakwax reserves the right Not to offer the customer a refund. It will also be at the customers cost to get the product re-shipped to them.

(2) The Product has arrive Damaged:
Please note that upon Delivery of your surfboard If you have any Damage to the Carton / Box, you MUST sign for as DAMAGED.
All boards are sent out in a Brand New state and are checked over thoroughly before dispatch. We Cannot accept any responsibility for any damaged goods that are not signed for as DAMAGED.
If you are in doubt please sign as DAMAGED.
If your board has arrived Damaged and you DID sign for it as Damaged please get in contact with us, using our surfboard department email

If your board has arrived damaged BUT you didn't sign for it as Damaged then it is not covered by our couriers insurance and Yakwax cannot accept any responsibility.


Complaints Policy


Should you have any cause for complaint please don’t hesitate to let us know. We pride ourselves on dealing with and acting on ALL complaints or feedback - what you say and your views count and matter to us. Every complaint is dealt with fairly and effectively in the strictest confidence. Here at YAKWAX we endeavor to respond to all complaints within five working days.

Security Guarantee

When you place an order and fill in your sensitive information i.e. name, address, credit card details, we utilise industry standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layers) technology in order to encrypt your credit card details. Information passed between your computer and our web site cannot be read in the event that someone intercepts it.

Stock Availability

Our Stock systmes are Live so what you see in stock is in stock!! However on the very rare occasions when we are unable to fulfill your order due to either Technical error or Human error we will contact you and let you know. Prices are correct at the point of publication - but will be subject to future changes. Any order placed at the point of price publication will be supplied at that price if stock is available. Any changes to prices will be published at the point where they are in effect from.

Pricing

All our prices are displayed excluding VAT. VAT is charged at the national rate of 17.5% and will be applied in the checkout stage to orders that qualify to pay it. I.e. orders being sent to England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will be liable to have VAT added to their cart total.

Delayed or Slow Delivery?


On ALL Postage Services except UK Special Delivery 24-48HR Service, Please allow 10 working days from date of purchase to pass before getting in contact with Yakwax about delayed or slow deliveries.
